Recycled Aggregates are becoming increasingly common within the construction industry as companies strive to cut costs and lower carbon footprints. Recycled Aggregates come in a variety of guises and are often cheaper than their quarried counterparts. Advances in recycling technology have allowed a greater percentage of demolition materials to be recycled thus relieving pressure on quarried stock whilst simultaneously reducing the amount we send to landfill.
Available loose by the tonne or in bulk bags we can deliver across the North East including Darlington, Durham, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Barnard Castle, Richmond, Northallerton, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool.
RECYCLED MOT TYPE 1
Our Recycled MOT Type 1 is made up of blended crushed concrete, brick and occasionally asphalt.
Ranging in size range from 40mm down to dust to create an easily compacted recycled aggregate.
Ideal for hard-standings, haul roads, building sub-bases and path/driveway/patio sub-bases.
RECYCLED 6F5
Our recycled 6F5 is made up of crushed hardcore materials including crushed concrete and ranges in size from 75mm down to dust.
Ideal as as a capping layer for larger road and highway construction, civil engineering, driveways, landscaping, pathways and as a general fill material.
TOPSOIL
Our Topsoil is certified to BS3882 standard and can be sold as dug or screened to 10mm size. It’s a natural fertile topsoil containing some small stones important for drainage and aeration.
Suitable for for gardening, planting beds, and general landscaping. It can be used to raise ground levels and improve soil quality.
10MM PEA GRAVEL
Our high-quality 10mm pea gravel is quartz based, ideal for use in gardens, driveways and landscaping projects. It can also be used in drainage schemes by house builders. As this is a natural product colours may vary, ensuring it blends easily with any existing planting scheme and its small size gives it excellent drainage properties.
20MM GRAVEL
Our high-quality 20mm pea gravel can be used for both decorative purposes and in practical applications. With excellent drainage properties, it’s ideal for pathways and drives and suitable for bedding in pipes and soakaways.

SHARP SAND
Our Sharp Sand is locally sourced and can be used to make ready-mix concrete for multiple applications, such as paving, concreting and constructing floor screeds.
The angular nature of the sand particles ensures that good drainage is maintained making it ideal for levelling out patios and other paving projects.
YELLOW SAND
Our high-quality yellow sand is ideal for mixing with cement and water to make mortar for bricklaying, pointing and rendering applications requiring a smooth finish.
It’s produced at a very fine grade which can be used to fill the cracks or voids in pavement and when mixed with concrete, helps to improve the structural foundation.
