Although our waste recycling centre is primarily utilised for processing waste collected via our skips, we are also able to accommodate waste tipping from 3rd parties.
We recognise that many commercial and industrial businesses produce waste and are licensed to carry waste but incur expensive fees for disposing of waste materials via their local council services.
When disposing of commercial waste, there are legal requirements that need to be considered, we can provide competitive rates for a wide range of trades, companies and organisations.
We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for landfill diversion through our advanced recycling facilities, so you can rest assured knowing your commercial waste has been disposed of as efficiently as possible.
Please note, waste carriers licenses are required to use our waste tipping facilities.
Experts in Commercial Waste and Business Waste Management
Weighing, Tipping and Processing
On arrival at our facility, your vehicle will be directed to our weighbridge station, where the load will be weighed before tipping. A weighbridge ticket is produced, the contents will be logged and the tipped waste will be put through our waste trommel to be sorted.
All waste streams will be separated. Metals, woods and plastics are semi-processed to be collected by our specialist recovery partners and fully recycled.
Aggregates and soils are fully removed on site and processed into fully recycled, quality aggregate products ready for sale and re-use.
Specialist Waste Recycling Centre
We operate a specialist waste management and recycling centre in Darlington where we recycle all waste received into the following streams; timber, metals, plasterboard, light plastics, heavy plastics, green waste, cardboard, paper, textiles, carpets, brick rubble, roof tiles, slates, concrete, glass, soils and stone, before sending them on to specialist, approved re-processors to be turned into new products.
By implementing environmentally friendly waste treatment processes it is not only helping the environment, but also customers to meet their corporate social responsibility and environmental commitments.
